Celebrate the new year with a kinder, happier rifle!

Happy New Year! Found this picture on Reddit and couldn’t resist. Here is the original post. If I am ever gunned down, I hope it is with a rifle as friendly and non-threatening as this one.

In other news, I am happy to announce that most of the really difficult portion of the moving process is complete and I can now devote some time to kicking my writing staff in the rear. I was unable to attract any new hires so I can’t promise any dramatic improvement in content or quality of writing.

For those of you who regularly read the Brick, I guess we have been doing good enough.

  1. Way back 20 years ago when I was in the Australian Navy our SLR’s were a boring black & brown. How much more fun it would’ve been practicing rifle drill with a brightly coloured rifle like this one. Would the bullets for this weapon be softer & less painful than the traditional type that hurt a lot as they tear into the enemies body????

  2. Good Question. I am not sure but in the spirit of Hello Kitty I would hope it comes with Novocain coated rounds. AT LEAST it should use sterile bullets with a nice antiseptic tip.

  3. Hi There iknowkeith,
Help question – I am new to wordpress & I noticed that my picture hasn’t appeared next to my comment I left & my username doesn’t come up as a link back to my blog like yours does. Is there some setting I need to change to make this happen???? I have uploaded my pic onto my profile so I figure I must be doing something wrong. If you can offer any suggestion on how to fix this could you please leave a reply here & I will check back later or email me at ynot@mysoul.com.au
    Thank You
