Chinese family on the southern island province of Hainan had just that idea when one of their number started vomiting blood after drinking a bottle of water, a newspaper said.
They fed a luckless chicken the rest of the water to see what would happen, the Beijing News said, citing a report in a local paper. “The result was the chicken died within a minute,” it said, showing a picture of a man holding a plastic bottle squatting over the crumpled body of the bird.

Seriously, we need to take a hard look at our trade relationship with China. All this cheap stuff is great, but the risks might be too high. I am not going to blame Wal*Mart, the Government, or even China. The blame now rests on us, the consumers. We have got to look at labels and make a decision each and ever time we buy a product made in China. Is it worth it? You might save a couple of bucks, but what risks are you taking?
China is a country that can not even keep extremely toxic bottled water off the shelves. There is no way we can trust anything that is exported.
