Incontiguous Brick smashes projections!

Filed under: Ramblings — iknowkeith @ 3:24 pm

The Incontiguous Brick set new a record yesterday! Due to a huge interest in Ron Paul’s letter, the Brick received over 14,900 views and became the number one Blog on WordPress. This was a tremendous increase in traffic from a previous high of 875 hits.

“I can’t believe how fast this is growing,” said one member of the editorial staff. “We should have a party, or something!” Party indeed. Before the surge in readership, the Chief Editor had planned to celebrate with his wife when the total views reached 10,000. Now that the Brick has more then doubled the anticipated benchmark, there may be a delay on dinner plans until either 50,000 views (or at least the weekend).

Possibly the most surprising is the amount of overseas interest in the Paul letter. Over a hundred hits from China alone demonstrate the international interest in Paul’s bid for the Presidency.

When asked where this is all going, one Brick writer said, “I don’t know but I am sure glad I get to be part of it all. I feel a little like Forest Gump. I am in the right place to experience history being made and I just don’t know it yet.” Maybe this is overstating it, but the excitement at the offices of the Incontiguous Brick is certainly palpable.

  1. Congratulations!

Paul is probably one of the greatest things to ever happen to the Blogosphere.
With luck, he’ll be one of the greatest things to happen to America too!

  2. Congratulations!

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of momentum Ron Paul can generate through the use of word-of-link publicity. His message certainly won’t get out through the MSM.
