Texas Independence?

Filed under: Conspiracy, Wordpress Political Blogs, politics — iknowkeith @ 4:37 pm

Now here is something you don’t hear about every day…

There is a candidate for US Senator that says a vote for him is a vote for Texas independence. Larry Kilgore, born in 1964 in Amarillo, TX and veteran of the US Air Force is a strong advocate for the succession of Texas.

seccession-flag.jpgHere are his solutions (from his website) for just a few of the issues facing Texas today…

Illegal Immigration: Texas Independence

Economic Turmoil: Texas Independence

US Empire’s antagonistic actions toward foreign governments: Texas Independence

US Empire’s antagonistic actions toward Texas: (you guessed it) Texas Independence

I guess the only problem Texas has these days is that it have to put up with the rest of America dragging it down. Apparently, Texans are just better at politics and administering a country than the rest of America.

Before you write this guy off, look at his last campaign. In 2006, he ran for Governor and picked up over 7% of the vote. That is better the Rudy did in most states and the media still considered him a viable candidate right up till he dropped out.

I wonder, with that kind of attitude coming from Texas, how many people in other states would vote to see Texas go?

Here is another tricky one… What will they do with all the Presidential Libraries? The LBJ Library in Austin is quite nice, I’d hate to see that go out of country. Of course, there is the Bush library too.

The media blackout continues…

Filed under: Conspiracy, Ron Paul, Wordpress Political Blogs, politics — iknowkeith @ 12:57 am

I just watched the NBC Eleven O’Clock news as they covered the FOX Debate story. Each candidate was given a short mention with a clip from the debate. Oops, I’m sorry did I say each candidate? Ron Paul was not mentioned AT ALL!

But maybe they were only showing clips from the leading candidates. Oh wait, that isn’t it because they wasted my time with Thompson and Rudy.

Also no mention of the text message poll winner (also Ron Paul). At least Fox News acknowledged Paul as the winner even if only so the commentator could point out that he felt Paul was the loser.

Yet somehow Paul keeps getting votes. Amazing. I can’t wait to see the results of the NH recount (if it happens).

California Ron Paul Fans Take Note!

Filed under: Conspiracy, Ron Paul, politics — iknowkeith @ 10:01 pm

ca_flag.jpg For the first time, the California Republican party is not allowing unaffiliated voters to vote in the presidential primary. Since this fact has not been shared widely, this means many non-affiliated voters will be turned away when it comes time to vote!

Also, this year the California Republican Primary will NOT be winner-take-all, which means your vote will make a difference in helping Ron Paul get nominated! So plan on going to vote!

To vote for Ron Paul in California, you need to re-register to vote as a Republican HERE before January 21.

FBI search likely to reveal Kevin Bacon as suspect

Filed under: Conspiracy, Kevin Bacon, Warnings, politics — iknowkeith @ 8:45 am

Guess what the FBI has been up to lately. They just released a document that says they have been watching far more people than they said before. By using a network approach to identifying potential bad guys, they have creating a “community of interest” that identifies people that have talked to terrorist suspects. Here is an excerpt from the New York Times:

By ERIC LICHTBLAUPublished: September 9, 2007
WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 — The F.B.I. cast a much wider net in its terrorism investigations than it has previously acknowledged by relying on telecommunications companies to analyze phone-call patterns of the associates of Americans who had come under suspicion, according to newly obtained bureau records. The documents indicate that the Federal Bureau of Investigation used secret demands for records to obtain data not only on individuals it saw as targets but also details on their “community of interest” — the network of people that the target was in contact with. The bureau stopped the practice early this year in part because of broader questions raised about its aggressive use of the records demands, which are known as national security letters, officials said.

So much for privacy. And be careful about who your friend’s friends are friends with because they might have talked to someone that is linked to a terrorist supporter in some way.

If there is one man who should be sweating this policy… it is Kevin Bacon.

Kevin Bacon, unavailable for comment, could stand to lose big with this form of investigation. It is well known that everyone links to Kevin Bacon in some way. Depending on how intrusive and dispersed this “net” actually is, could land the popular actor on the no-fly list. The F.B.I. did say that they only took this out to the first step of contacts, but who really knows? It is not like they have been consistently upfront about how they operate. It takes a lot less that 6 steps to reach the popular actor for most people.

Now for the bad news…

If almost everyone links to Kevin Bacon, that means the terrorists have links to YOU!

New scandal may be brewing in CA

Filed under: Conspiracy, politics — iknowkeith @ 9:49 am

A storm could be coming for Gov. Schwarzenegger over the aerial spraying of Monterey county.

As you may have read in my earlier posts, there have now been 4 days of aerial pesticide spraying over some residential communities in California. The goal was to eliminate the Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM) from the Monterey area before it spread to agricultural centers and potentially did over $100 million in damages.

  • link to the effected area map.

The controversy is twofold. First, the spraying was done inspite of protests by the communittee and the unanimous vote of the city council to block the spray. Yeah, democracy! Second, although the maker of the spray (Suterra) assured us all it is completely safe it has not been tested fully by the EPA.

The whole thing seemed to make no sense until someone tracked down the money and brought this to my attention…

contributions-quote.jpgThe owner of Suterra is Stewart A. Resnick. Mr. Resnick is also among the top 100 campaign contributors to Governor Schwarzenegger, having contributed $144,000.

Maybe it is a coincidence. Maybe Arnold really did feel like spraying citizens with untested chemicals to prevent some other people from loosing money is a reasonable thing in a free society. Or… maybe this is an example of “owing something” to a contributor, no matter what the potential risk to human health.

I would also like to mention that there have been a number of reports (in local yahoo groups and the like) of people who developed irritated eyes, scratchy throats, etc on the morning after the first spraying. I also have had a sore throat that lasted for all three day of spraying over my house and has just gone away (no spray last night). Can any of us claim %100 that these symptoms are due to the spray? Of course not. But doesn’t it seem a bit wrong that we have to consider the possibility that the spray made us ill because the EPA has not tested the chemical?

There is already talk of repeating the spray next month. Personally, I am going to get out of town for the next one. But more importantly, this has to be stopped and an investigation should be conducted to see just how much corruption is involved.

How is this happening in America?

Filed under: Conspiracy, Environment, Warnings — iknowkeith @ 9:46 pm

“Democracies do not spray their citizens with powerful untested, unwanted pesticides.” -David Dilworth, August 2007

As I type, the State of California is dumping pesticides from the aircraft (flying at 500 ft) on the city of Monterey and Seaside for the third night in a row. I hear the planes flying directly over my house with my children sleeping upstairs. This is done inspite of citizen protest and a unanimous vote of the city council to stop the spraying and use safer methods. The EPA has NOT tested this pesticide on humans!

nosprayjpg.jpgThe MSDS label for the Checkmate olr-f spray does list is as Slightly Toxic and causing “Corneal involvement or irritation”

How is this happening in America? Is this a precursor to the what we are in store for next time there is a viral outbreak?

What lobby group is pushing this and which politician is making money on such a crazy infringment on our constitutional right to safety?

From the ihope website:

The Monterey City Council voted unanimously Thursday evening to oppose the aerial spraying of chemicals for the LBA Moth.
They also gave confidential direction to their attorney, and directed the Mayor to ask the California Secretary of Agriculture to postpone the spraying scheduled for next Wednesday, Sept 5th.
Wednesday night at the special Monterey City Council meeting held at the Monterey Conference Center, the first 2 hours were entirely used up by the three agency staff defending the pesticide spraying.
Some 250 people attended and many others watched on live TV as a parade of dozens of people - perhaps as many as 60 - spoke against the aerial chemical spraying of our community. Another half dozen testified against the spraying Thursday.
To say their comments were eloquent and heartfelt would be so inadequate as to describe the sun as merely bright.”People are more important than strawberries.”"Why didn’t [the moderator] read my question?”

“It is totally unfair that we get only 3 minutes to rebut 2 hours of agency spin.”

“Why didn’t [the moderator] read my question?”

“The FAA closes the Monterey Tower at 9 in the evening. That means the spray planes will be flying less than 500 feet over our hilly town under the radar and with no tower watching.”

and (the ever popular) -

“Why didn’t [the moderator] read my question?”

This is just a sampling. I urge you to review the DVD of the meeting, available at Monterey Library when ready.
Steven Shimek was the one person to advocate for planes spraying chemicals on us - either day. Although claiming to represent Sea Otters, he apparently didn’t think about the pesticide toxicity to crabs that our endangered Sea Otters eat.

The new war on… moths?

Filed under: Conspiracy, Environment, Warnings — iknowkeith @ 7:02 pm

The government of California has declared biological warfare on an alien invader.

The alien is the Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM) from Australia. This moth has made landfall in the San Francisco Bay area and has the potential to thrive in 80 percent of the nation.

Death and Taxes on shaky ground

Filed under: Conspiracy, Life, Money — iknowkeith @ 12:13 am

Benjamin Franklin once said, “In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes.” Well Mr. Franklin, you might have been wrong about one of these.

benfranklin.jpgFrom the WorldNet Daily:

The Internal Revenue Service has lost a lawyer’s challenge in front of a jury to prove a constitutional foundation for the nation’s income tax, and the victorious attorney now is setting his sights higher.

“I think now people are beginning to realize that this has got to be the largest fraud, backed up by intimidation and extortion and by the sheer force of taking peoples property and hard-earned money without any lawful authorization whatsoever,” lawyer Tom Cryer told WND just days after a jury in Louisiana acquitted him of two criminal tax counts.

“There are three points that are important,” he told WND. “There’s no law making the average working man liable [for income taxes], there’s no law or regulation that allows the IRS to contend that earnings are 100 percent profit received in exchange for nothing, and the right to earn a living through any lawful occupation is a constitutionally protected fundamental right, and it is exempt from taxation.”

“The Criminal Investigation Division and Department of Justice both responded only with ‘your position is frivolous.’ I had never stated a position, so how could they know whether it was frivolous?” he said. “Imagine my sending you a bill for $1,000 and when you call me and ask what the bill was for I simply said, ‘that position is frivolous, just write the check and send it in.’”

“The IRS lets Wal-Mart sell a trillion dollars worth of goods, but they can back out their cost of goods [before being taxed,]” he said. “The IRS considers, in the case of a Wal-Mart wage earner, 100 percent of what he takes in is profit.”

“But he’s using his life, energy and work lifespan, and depleting it as he goes,” Cryer told WND. “[Working] is a God-given fundamental right that is protected under the Constitution and can’t be taxed any more than exercising freedom of speech.”

So the courts have outlawed taxes. If only we could figure out a way to outlaw death, then we would be on to something!
